Point To Point Protocol

We can supply and fit Point-to-Point, Line of Site communication data systems from radio wave frequency (RF) and physical laser link technology. Laser Links can perform between 1.5 Mbps to 10 Gigabit speeds.

Laser Link or FSO (Free-Space Optics) also known as Wireless Optics or Optical Wireless, is an optical data, voice and video transmission link system. Like fibre optic cable, wireless optics communication systems use laser light to transmit a digital signal between two transceivers. However, unlike fibre, the laser link is transmitted through the air LOS (Line of Sight) instead of through a glass fibre strand. In order for the digital signal to be transmitted and received, there must be clear uninterrupted air space LOS between each wireless optics unit. In other words, there should be no obstructions such as trees or buildings between the transceivers.

Radio Frequency data link (RF) also know, as microwave and wireless link is effectively the same as a laser link, providing a less critical LOS data communications.
